Next Stretch Goal

We're heading into the weekend and approaching our Fourth Stretch Goal. At $100K, we will be unlocking Kirk Denton, The Survivor. He'll be added to the game as another option for the Hero in the game. This is the NPC in Mixtape Massacre who is coming after you and the other slashers during play. At the start of the game you'll be able to choose to play with Linda, Kirk, or other heroes from expansions.

Even better, both Linda and Kirk will come with a Profile card and Rescue Token for use with Escape from Tall Oaks.

$100K - Fourth Stretch Goal Unlocked

WHAT A WEEKEND (and it's not even over)! We've just unlocked our Fourth Stretch Goal. This will add Kirk Denton (The Survivor) to all copies of Mixtape Massacre: The Director's Cut. Also included, will be a Profile Card and Rescue token for use with Escape from Tall Oaks. And if that's not enough, we'll also be updating the Survivor's Card in the Killer Scenes, Dude card deck with updated artwork.

Next Stretch Goal

Our next stretch goal at $125K was one as a team we wanted to make something fun and special. We decided on a free, extra set of action dice, as we have fans hitting us up to get them all the time. But we wanted to make these a little more custom. If you've played Escape from Tall Oaks, you know how nice the transparent blue action dice look in that game. So for Mixtape Massacre, we're doing transparent blood red dice. Keeping it extra bloody. And with 10 days left, it looks like we're on our way there.

New Add-Ons

We've received a lot of messages since the start of the campaign about "why isn't there a shirt option like your other Kickstarters?" WE HEAR YOU!

You might have seen a preview earlier this week for the shirt on our socials, but if not, here it is, available in T-Shirt and Long Sleeve style, and EXCLUSIVE TO OUR KICKSTARTER BACKERS!

How Do I Add Them to My Pledge?

These are now available as add-on options when you go to MANAGE YOUR PLEDGE. If you're one of the backers who can't see the add-on options, just add the price of the add-on to your pledge total.

Sizes

As for sizes, they'll be available in sizes S - 4XL for the tees and sizes S - 3XL for the Long Sleeves. You'll be able to choose your size after the campaign in BackerKit.

Profile Card Add-On

We've received a few questions concerning the Updated Profile Cards Add-Ons, so we thought we'd dedicate this update specifically to this add-on. Let it be known, we as a team have also decided to add an extra perk to this add-on, so definitely read below.

Questions from Backers

Q: "Is this Add-on included in the Producer's Pack?"

A: No. This is the only add-on not included in any pledge level, as it's something that only applies to backers who currently own expansions and boosters.

Q: What's different about these profile cards than the ones we have?

A: First, they're now using the new layout with the ability right on the card. We've also gone back through and balanced abilities just like we did with all other profile cards in the original game.

Q: If I haven't bought the expansions or boosters yet, do I need them?

A: If you plan on buying them within the next year, than yes, as our current printings do not include these updated cards. We only just restocked, so that restock will last us through next year, with no current definitve plans for reorder at the moment.

What's Included?

Included inside the pack is updated profile cards for all characters included in our expansions and booster packs for use with Mixtape Massacre, including:

• Bad Dad
• Scarlett
• The Scare
• The Sleigher

BUT, we're also adding two bonus cards to this. After talking as a team, we're happy to announce also in the pack there will be Escape from Tall Oaks cards for Bad and Scarlett since they were not part of the original boosters. So if you've already added this add-on to your pledge, you're getting those cards. If you'd like to add this to your pledge, simply click manage your pledge and add it, OR, if you're having issues with add-ons since you're using Apple Pay, just add $8 to your pledge and you'll be able to allocate that money to the add-ons you'd like post-campaign.

The Hallow's Eve Expansion

We've received a couple questions about the Hallow's Eve expansion, so we thought it'd be helpful if we dedicated an update just to the expansion. Below you'll find details on what's in the box, features, photos, and answers to some questions, as well as our unveiling of the other new slasher (see below) contained in the expansion. Let's get started.

What's In The Box

• 1 The Scare Character Piece
• 1 The Scare Profile Card
• 1 Search Die
• 2 New Slashers (Mari and The Sludge)
• 2 Character Profile Cards
• 2 Special Ability Tokens
• 4 Vine/Spawn Pieces
• 6 Red Stands
• 15 Killer Scenes, Dude Cards
• 40 Supply Cards
• 2 Slasher Profile Cards for use with Escape from Tall Oaks

Features

•  The Scare serves as the main enemy in this expansion, but with a twist. At first, it will send out it's vines/spawns to battle the slashers. As players lose to the vines, they'll split, creating more vines on the board, blocking locations, and attacking players. They'll also become stronger/harder as more take over the board, until they bring The Scare to the board. Then it's going to be a bloodbath. 🎃
•  The Masks - Along with other fun supply additions, players will be able to find and equip masks, granting them power-ups and abilities. But like all strange artifacts... they also bring trouble. 👹
•  Ghosts - For those wearing masks, they better hope they don't draw a ghost card or things could get nasty for the player. 👻
• And more Halloween Themed fun is packed into the box to create a whole new Mixtape Massacre experience and get slashers into the Halloween Spirit. 🎃

Questions from Backers

Q: "What’s the difference between the Scare from the booster pack and the Hallow’s Eve expansion?"

A: For starters, this is an expansion, so it's more than just a character and a couple cards. But more importantly, the Scare booster is a playable character in Mixtape Massacre. In the Hallow's Eve expansion The Scare serves as the main adversary. And as you can tell by the picture above... it's a much BIGGER problem.

Q: "Will this expansion be compatible with the original game?"

A: Absolutely. We always want to make sure everyone can take advantage of our new products. We even include a Halloween colored Search Die so players without other expansions or the new edition have it for the additional mechanics.

Q: "Does the Halloween expansion come with minis or standees?"

A: The expansion comes with standees, as those are what come with all our base products. We look at minis as upgrades, so if the minis do well during this campaign, you can bet we'll do an entire set just for all our expansions, as well as one for our boosters, and a set for Escape from Tall Oaks.
