Revised Plastics - Round 3 (Knives Approved)
over 2 years ago – Wed, Dec 22, 2021 at 04:26:49 PM

Hey Slashers!

This will be a short, but sweet, update. As of last night we were shown the updated knives and the peg issue has been resolved. This means all items have been approved, so manufacturing can be completed and packing can occur.

What's Next?

It'll take a few weeks for them to finish manufacturing everything and packing, but we should receive word concerning a shipping date after the new year. But the most important thing is everything is approved and being completed.

We wanted to check in before the holidays begin as the team has had an incredibly busy year and will be taking some time off from December 23rd - January 3rd. When we return, our next update we'll have an unboxing video to show off everything.

Everyone have a safe and Happy Holiday, as well as a Happy New Year!

Talk soon, Slashers!

Revised Plastics - Round 2
over 2 years ago – Sat, Dec 11, 2021 at 02:36:37 PM

Hey Slashers,

The new versions of the plastics have arrived! After receiving them on Wednesday, we spent the rest of the week reviewing them and communicating with the factory. Notes below:

The Minis

Those who follow our Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram saw our original post concerning the new version of the mins we received with a lot of excitement from fans.

We received these along with the tray/case and honestly, we couldn't be more happy with the final product. They look fantastic. EVEN BETTER, the tray they come in fits perfectly into the base game box along with all the other components of the game, so you'll have no trouble transporting them with your game.

These are finalized and approved.

-----

The Knives / Player Stations

We also received the knives from the factory. They look great. The textures in the handle, the splatters and grit on the blade, all look awesome. Even more cool is the fact that the edge of the knife is serrated, producing that authentic slasher feel. You'll also notice within the card slot area in the blade, there's additional pieces to keep the cards standing up straight. All around the knives are awesome.

The only issue currently being resolved is the holes in the handle for the health pegs. In the latest version of the knives, they're still "just a little" too small, making the placing in and pulling out of the pegs not as easy as it should be. For a game where you're losing and gaining health, this is an issue, and we want to make sure they're corrected and perfected for optimal play.

We did a thorough review of them with our project manager communicating and showcasing the issue. We even sent the factory a full video that they're currently reviewing as well as the notes we provided and are working to provide a new sample. So we're currently waiting on that. It's slightly disappointing as we were hoping to have been approved by now, but obviously we also want to make sure all pieces are 100%.

Once we receive the next knife sample with the holes corrected, all pieces will be approved, and the games can be packed and shipped. We will also provide our next update then, along with a full unboxing video and photos.

Have a good weekend, Slashers!

A Quick Update - 12/04/21
over 2 years ago – Tue, Dec 07, 2021 at 06:20:23 PM

Hey Slashers!

We know a few of you have been looking for an update. As we mentioned in our last update, we were waiting on the MPCs for the Director's Cut and Minis which had been delayed until the middle of November.

Since then, the only thing that had been received was the MPC of the Director's Cut, without the knives for approval. We can tell you that the MPC of the game itself looks great, BUT, without the knives, we cannot approve the full package.

After receiving the MPC we were told the final knives and minis would not be far behind. 2 weeks later, the minis showed up, BUT without the tray or the wash on them. The knives had also still not shown up. Apparently there had been a mix up on what was supposed to be sent for approval.

As of last week, a new batch of minis and the knives were shipped. We are currently waiting for those to show up. Tracking shows, they will be here Monday, December 6th (this Monday). With that news, we have our fingers crossed that we'll be reviewing and approving those items on Monday or Tuesday this week, which means we'll be providing a more concrete update later this week, along with hopefully photos or video.

We were going to wait to provide this update when those had arrived, but as a couple backers requested this update, we're making it now. But as we mentioned above, a more thorough update should be coming later this week once the items have been received.

Have a good weekend.

Director's Cut Update and More
over 2 years ago – Fri, Oct 22, 2021 at 07:33:42 PM

Hey Slashers,

We just received word that the Hallow's Eve Expansion and Snack Attack Booster Pack have completed printing and are being packed and shipped to us. When those arrive, we'll do an unboxing video for both to show off the items inside.

We also have received word that the MPCs for the Director's Cut and Minis has been delayed until the middle of November. The reason the plastic moldings and supply issues. As most of you have probably seen on the news and such, supply chains and shipping have sadly taking a hard hit  for a lot of folks right now heading into the holiday season. But once those MPCs we'll be rocking again. We'll also do a video of those MPCs as those will be the finished product.

So what does this mean, big picture? Unfortunately, this means fulfillment is probably going to be moving into Q1 2022. A more firm date will be provided once we have the MPCs and they're approved and we're provided a shipping plan.

As disappointing as this news is, at the same time, with everything we've been receiving, our team is very excited for this release as the product itself is absolutely the best it can be. We couldn't be happier or want anything more from this version of the game.

We'll have more news as we begin to receive the last of the MPCs. Until then, everyone have a great Halloween and we'll have more news soon.
