Pre-Press & Plastic Samples: Part III

Happy Monday, Slashers!

We're checking in with another quick update concerning Pre-press and Plastics. Let's start with the awesome news...

Pre-Press

ALL-PRINT-FILES-APPROVED.

That's right, Slashers. All of our print files have been approved for the project, which means next, we'll be receiving a PPC version of the game for testing and approval. We're pretty excited to be this far along already.

Plastics

11 of 13 miniatures have been approved. We're currently waiting on 2 more to finalize everything. We also received samples of the New Purple Movement Dice, so both the Movement Dice and the KS Exclusive Dice have been approved. All we have left to approve is the Orange Search Die included with the Hallow's Eve Expansion. After that, all plastics have been approved.

To say we're thrilled about how far along things are currently would be an understatement. We should have some more samples to begin showing you within the month. So definitely stay tuned...

Happy Weekend, Slashers!

We're checking in with a quick update concerning Pre-press and Plastics. Let's start with the fun stuff...

Plastics

Minis

Currently 10 out of 13 mini models have been approved for production. We're working to revise 3 of them with the manufacturer right now. A couple details not coming out with them like we want, so we're hoping to get these corrected in the next week so we can move into samples. Check out some of the previews below...

Knives

The knife model has been approved. You'll see some nice grips inside the card slot to help the cards stand better. Cannot wait to receive the samples of these with the textures we've designed printed on them.

Pre-Press

We received notes back from the Pre-Press team. We edits to 8 of the art files. Not too bad. Looking to have those revised and back to the team by the end of Monday / Tuesday, and then we should be off to the races.

The Myth

We still have a few folks asking if previous expansions will be compatible with the new version of the game, so let us clarify one last time: All previous expansions for Mixtape Massacre are compatible with the new game.

We also just released our brand new expansion MYTH, and along with it, a nice collection of Exclusive Accessories and Limited Merchandise (available until June 18th). Be sure to check it out.

Project Status: Art Files Submitted

Slashers!

Very exciting news. Not only are all plastics being prepped for samples, but we have also officially sent off all art files for pre-press. 

These files will be checked by the manufacture and provided back to us for review before being turned into a PPC (prototype). We currently are right on schedule with where we want to be. So... so far, so good.

Mini Sample Files

Something we thought would interest you all is that we've started receiving sample files from the manufacturer of the minis. Currently, they're going through, checking the 3D files, and doing clean up on any of the minis in order to make the best molds they can for mass production. You'll see in some of the screenshots we've attached, arms might have been slightly moved, or weapons might have been thickened in order to get the best mold possible. The only "big change" you'll notice, is the base the character stands on has been brought in a tad, so that it fits perfectly into the squares on the board, but the height has remained the same. Colors being used are only for display and comparison purposes. See below:

Enjoy the previews. Over the next couple weeks, we'll be reviewing art files as they're provided back to us for approval, and working to get our PPC into production.

BackerKit: BackerKit: Credit Cards Charging PART II

A quick follow up. Thanks to our backer William, he's let us know that some Credit Cards note the charge as STRIPE.COM. So if your card has a charge for Stripe.Com or Bright Light Media, it is NOT FRAUD, it's us.

Just want to make everyone aware.

BackerKit: Credit Cards Charging Today

Today (now) credit cards will be charged for shipping, add-ons, and any other expenses you have in your BackerKit account.

Important Note About Credit Card Charges

An important note concerning credit cards. Last Kickstarter we had 3 people report their credit cards being charged by Bright Light Media (us) as fraud. This not only resulted in hurting us, as we pay fees for those issues, but it also resulted in those backers not receiving their rewards.

If you see a charge on your card for Bright Light Media, we assure you it is us, and it is for your Kickstarter rewards.

What Happens If My Credit Card Fails?

If your credit card fails you will be notified and have the opportunity to update your card so you can pay for your shipping and rewards, but, until your balance is paid, we cannot fulfill your rewards.

Am I able to update my survey or rewards?

NO. The time for editing orders and add-ons ended on Friday, May 22nd. Your order will ship as is and be charged for whatever balance you currently have.

Am I able to update my address?

YES. You will be able to update your address for the Kickstarter up until 2 weeks before the campaign is fulfilled. We will also send out notices about finalizing your shipping address before we begin shipping.

Important Dates

Below are the upcoming important dates:

• Credit Cards Will Be Charged by Bright Light Media - May 25th - TODAY
• Estimated Fulfillment Date / Rewards Shipping - December 15th (this is an estimate and may change due to manufacturing issues)
